Current weekend thoughts as I’m experiencing the Sunday Night Blues…

This one is for my high functioning girlies.

You are not a robot.

You don’t need to be productive 100% of the time.

If you are resting, you are not lazy. If you aren’t doing something that propels you forward in this very moment, you won’t become a failure.

We aren’t made to be machines.
We aren’t part of an assembly belt that never shuts down.

We are allowed to live.

And sometimes, that means doing absolutely nothing with your time.

“Wasting” time, as we call it.

Newsflash: no time is ever wasted.
Living is part of the human experience, all facets of it.

You are allowed to be unproductive. Repeat that one more time.
